601 heat detectors use a wireless transmission path to connect to a node located on the addressable loop. Up to 32 detectors may be connected to the node. 601 heat detectors are compatible with Numens 6002 2‑wire addressable fire detection control and indicating equipment.
The detector includes an internal sounder to provide a local alarm signal.
If the detector is removed from its base, a fault signal will be released to the CIE. If the wireless transmission path is interrupted, the detector will operate as a stand-alone smoke/heat alarm.
An internal battery provides 5 years of normal operation.
